    Description

    Data Divers is seeking a Data Solutions Architect who is passionate and curious about data, committed to always delivering value, invested in continuous learning, and excited to be part of a knowledgeable, forward-thinking team.

    About the Role
    Data Solutions Architects at Data Divers are responsible for:
    Providing thought leadership on how our clients can leverage cloud data and analytical technologies to deliver business value.
    Translating complex requirements into innovative solution options that deliver value and align to our clients' strategic objectives.
    Leading teams to design and implement cloud-based data and analytics platforms for our clients.

    Analysing platform usage and leading capacity/sizing/costing activities to arrive at the most appropriate commercial and technical solution with the planning, budgeting, and mobilisation of projects.

    Providing day-to-day technical leadership, management and mentorship to the junior members of the delivery team.
    Collaborating with solution design and business requirements teams to identify data requirements.
    Supporting other team members through knowledge sharing sessions, and technical training.
    Leading or supporting the development of proposals and statements of work.
    As a Data Solutions Architect at Data Divers, you should have:
    Strong knowledge of leading practices in cloud platform architecture design and platform security.

    Proven knowledge and expertise of designing and implementing cloud-based data and analytics platforms using AWS, Azure, or Snowflake on either AWS or Azure, including establishment, integration, reporting, analytics, and data governance.

    Proven knowledge and experience in end-to-end project delivery using Agile delivery methodologies and traditional SDLC (or hybrid approaches).
    Experience working with Data Ops and Dev Ops frameworks to enable observability, security, and continuous integration and deployment.

    The ability to work collaboratively with other teams, e.g., data science and information architecture, to create best-fit solution for clients.

    Previous experience working with data, data environments, databases, and large data sets, preferably in a consulting environment.
    Please note that applicants should be based in Perth, Western Australia, and must hold full Australian working rights.
