Seeking an experienced End User/Desktop Support Engineer to join a government department that operates within the banking and finance space, on an initial 2 month contract to provide face to face support to a range of end-users.
Responsibilities:
- User onboarding & offboarding, password resets via Azure Active Directory
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
- Assist with basic network and security setup and maintenance
- Document support incidents and solutions in a ticketing system using ServiceNow or similar
- Perform routine maintenance and updates to computer systems
Requirements:
- MUST BE BASED IN SYDNEY
- 2+ years of experience in level 12 desktop support role
- Strong technical skills in Windows operating systems and Microsoft O36
- Good understanding of networking aspects such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
- ITIL Foundation Certificate (or equiv. experience)
Excellent customer service and communication skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
