BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Usability Researcher 2 Job for an opportunity in Remote

Position Title:
Usability Researcher 2**
Location:Remote, M-F 30-40 hours per week (if the contractor can get work done in 30 then they do not have to work full 40 hours per week)**
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP


Expected Duration: 04 months.


Job Type:
Contract and Remote


Pay Range:
$50 - $53/hr.

***In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for M365 web app user experience research.

You will execute impactful research to quantify UX progress and uncover deep customer insights needed to influence product decisions.

You will derive insights from quantitative and qualitative data, synthesizing in partnership with other researchers.

You will play a role in making M365 web products easier to use for people around the world.


Responsibilities:


  • Planning and executing remote usability studies (unmoderated and moderated), and quantitative UX research focused on Benchmarking.
  • Analysing and synthesizing data into scorecards, video compilations and issue tracking. Sensemaking across data sources, prioritizing issues, and tracking impact of research.

Skills and Experience - Required:


  • Strong project management, organization, and planning skills with an attention to detail.
  • Skilled at coordination and collaboration, naturally curious and an eager problem solver.
  • At least 2 years of UX researcher experience, or 1 year in UX research with 2+ years in related product making roles (design, data science, or project management).
  • Industry experience effectively partnering with teams to improve the user experience based on research results or customer feedback.
  • Experience analysing quantitative data and tracking metrics.
  • Experience with qualitative research methods and insight synthesis.
  • A degree in a Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or other data
- or research-centric field.


Skills and Experience - Preferred:


  • Experience and demonstrated skill with qualitative usability methods, including observing, understanding, and synthesizing human behaviour into insights, and driving the voice of the customer in product development.
