The Company
Kellogg Brown and Root Pty Ltd (KBR) is a leading Government and Defence service provider.

KBR in Australia has been involved in working with Defence for the last 20 years, and has developed a core competency in systems engineering, systems and enterprise architecture, project management, training solutions and integrated logistic support and provides this expertise to support a wide range of exciting Defence projects and clients.


The Role
KBR are currently seeking a proactive Enterprise Delivery & Engagement Manager to support our client within the Naval domain.

As an Enterprise Delivery & Engagement Manager, you will use project management skills to deliver engineering and logistics information systems, and on-board a broad portfolio of Defence organisations for data integrity and process management.

You will be the primary point of contact within the organisation for customer engagement and will leverage knowledge from technical experts to find solutions to complex problems and successfully achieve project outcomes.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Coordinate and communicate between internal and external stakeholders across configuration management, asset management, engineering, and integrated logistics support disciplines.
  • Conduct project governance activities, such as maintaining risk and issues registers, project delivery schedules, and facilitating Integrated Project Team (IPT) forums.
  • Reporting project progress against key milestones to organisational leadership.
  • Continuous review and improvement of the customer engagement model and the onboarding process for new Defence customers.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • A degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or IT, or significant relevant work experience.
  • Project Management skills and experience essential.
  • Change Management skills and experience highly desirable.
  • Strong relationship skills and stakeholder management experience across all levels of an enterprise of similar size and structure to Navy.
  • Experience with the development of business cases and supporting artefacts.
  • Understanding of the asset capability lifecycle from needs generation through to decommissioning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce executive level artefacts and pitches.
  • Experience with financial modelling including investment and sensitivity analysis.
  • Ability to think outside of the box to shape business strategy.

This role is based in Defence Plaza Sydney and requires a current AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.
