We are recruiting for a Cadet Planner to be part of our dynamic strategic planning team, which is working to shape the City's future guided by our strategic plan Sustainable Sydney : Continuing the Vision.

Our entry-level position in the strategic planning team provides young people with the opportunity to gain valuable organisational and local government experience while preparing them for their career in planning.

It provides valuable work experience and it supports bringing in talent from a younger generation that enriches our workplace and creates a more diverse and agile workforce.


The city is seeking an enthusiastic individual to assist in providing planning advice and offer input into Council's strategic planning projects to support the overall objectives of the Strategic Planning and Urban Design Unit.

To be successful you will be undertaking a degree in Urban Planning or related discipline.
