    We are recruitng experienced Team Leads to support a team of family violence practitioners, working on a temporary assignment, providing support to men, women and children experiencing family violence. The role is fully remote, running for a minimum of 6 weeks.

Pay ranging from $70 - $73 per hour, available to start from the 28th August.

You will:


  • Lead a team to ensure delivery of service provision to clients and to deliver on agreed targets.
  • Be responsible for the management and coordination of an Integrated virtual team of Senior Practitioners from multiple specialist areas.
  • Be responsible for the support and mentoring of the Senior Practitioners.
  • Provide practice guidance and leadership to Senior Practitioners in the delivery of program requirements.
  • Maintain the quality of service provided to people accessing the Orange Door for support.
  • Prioritise the safety of victim survivors and children using a gendered understanding of family violence and an understanding of child and family vulnerability.
  • Identify, mitigate and report risk through appropriate channels

You must have:


  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership or management, as well as an ability to use initiative, thinking laterally and strategically during times of pressure.
  • Experience in supporting staff in a remote capacity highly desirable
  • Demonstrated understanding of family violence, traumainformed practice, and crisis response.
  • Expert experience in relevant legislation, theories, and frameworks pertaining to Family Violence in Victoria, including MARAM
  • Previous Orange Door Hub experience highly desirable
