About this role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated
Front of House Administrator to join our vibrant and enthusiastic Office Services team based in
Melbourne.
This role also includes all host responsibilities including covering the reception area and assisting with a variety of requests from Arup Melbourne Staff members.
With access to a global community of FOH Administrators you will collaborate with and learn from other minds.What will I do?
- Work with BA's, PA's and AA's and any other staff who have booked rooms or events on endtoend event management to create, coordinate and execute meetings, events and activities as required and as assigned by the Front of House and Events Supervisor.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and assist with meeting room and event set up and pack down.
- Assist to source, liaise, and process orders with suppliers, vendors and venues for events and meetings.
- Work within team budgets to ensure they receive the best value and appropriate quantities relating to their catering and facility needs.
- Notify cleaners of additional event clean ups and café staff of after hours' events more than 48 hours in advance, in writing.
What will I bring?
- 12+ years' experience in an administrative role.
- Previous reception and events or hospitality experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and nontechnical environments.
- Consults with others to develop the level of knowledge required for the role.
- Ability to remain positively motivated and foster team spirit at times of significant pressure, including assisting others to meet deadlines.
