At RAC, you'll be instrumental in providing logístical and operational support to ensure the seamless execution of Social and Community Impact events, as well as stakeholder and RAC Council functions, and road safety education initiatives such as RAC bstreetsmart and RAC Project Road Smart.


  • Your role involves actively contributing to the realisation of RAC's 2030 Purpose, Vision, and Mission, while embodying companywide behaviours and prioritising member needs to contribute to a better Western Australia. This position is being offered as a full time contract, ending April 2025. Based in West Perth, with flexible working arrangements.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist in the planning, organising, and execution of key Social and Community Impact events.
  • Aid in the planning and execution of RAC education events such as RAC bstreetsmart and RAC Project Road Smart.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection and catering.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event operations.
Assist in the creation of event collateral. Maintain accurate records, including budgeting, attendance lists, and ensuring invoicing is completed. Assist with post-event activities including gathering and providing feedback.
What are we looking for?- Possess a relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrate equivalent expertise in event management (preferred), marketing, business, or partnership management. Bring a minimum of 2 years' vibrant experience in events or marketing roles, showcasing a background in administration, project coordination, or sponsorship activities. Embrace challenges with an invigorating, action-oriented mindset, infusing each task with urgency, energy, and boundless enthusiasm. Master the art of communication, adept at crafting and delivering compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences with finesse. Prioritise tasks to meet organisational objectives seamlessly.
