  • Permanent, Parttime position,
  • 9am to 5pm Monday & Tuesday (opportunity to increase)

Bookkeeper duties will include

  • Update, maintain and categorise day to day financial transactions
  • Quarterly reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Export and import reports from different systems
  • Processing payroll and other related payroll tasks
  • Managing accounts payable and processing invoices
  • Managing accounts receivable including the allocation of payments
  • Credit control of overdue invoices and payments
  • Leasing with external accountant for annual tax & accounting enquires
  • Reconciliation and preparation of quarterly business activity statements (BAS)
  • Data entry, reports creation and basic HR administration tasks
  • Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks and Keypay (
    essential)
  • Experience across a wide range of accounting functions
  • Strong level of accuracy & attention to detail
  • Ability to take responsibility and be accountable for workload
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Relevant vocational/tertiary qualifications as a bookkeeper or accounting
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • At least oneyear proven experience as a bookkeeper and preferably in the aged care and disability services sector.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 15 per week


Salary:
$ $35.00 per hour

Education:


  • Diploma (preferred)

Experience:


  • Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
  • QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
  • Keypay: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Tertiary qualification in finance (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (preferred)
