Analytics Manager to join us in

WHAT KEY RESPONSIBILITES DOES THIS ROLE HAVE?
The person in this role should act as the 2IC within the Westpac Analytics Team, and the regular point of contact for internal team leaders and clients in the WBG media team.
Analytics Team
- Leads daytoday project management and team workload to deliver against analytics roadmap promises
- Mentors and supports personal development of team members through regular coaching activities such as 11's and goal planning, actively seeking and listening to feedback
- Guides Associate Analytics Manager on ow to actively lead presentations internally and to clients, with limited senior input
- Coaches Analysts and Associate Analytics Managers on how to manage requests and questions independently
- Constantly seeks improvement in ways of working through process simplification and new product development where appropriate
- Accountable for best practice reporting and project delivery, focusing on simplicity and usability for nonanalytics team members and clients
Client Team/Client
- Actively manage client relationships, leading conversations around analytics strategy and informing marketing decision's
- Actively participates in internal client team WIPs and briefings, providing valuable and actionable recommendations
- Actively participates in Westpac brief responses, meetings or QBR's, identifying opportunities for increasing analytics engagement
- Accountable for the delivery of robust analytics roadmaps, including managing WBG's engagement and scope creep
- Educates and advises internal teams on analytics discipline updates and potential impacts to clients, building analytics ambassadors within the wider client team
Agency
Actively participates in new business opportunities, supporting senior analytic team with products and recommendations that align with overarching Spark Foundry proposition
WHAT BEHAVIOURS DOES OUR DREAM ANALYTICS MANAGER HAVE?
- Passionate about the media and advertising industry with an interest in new technology
- Confident and engaging interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, able to guide and influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to keep themselves and their team accountable for their outputs
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Able to think creatively, laterally and conceptually
- Develops professional relationships with media partners, understanding the information sharing boundaries
- Attention to detail that is second to none
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 23 years of work experience in a quantitative business environment or similar environment
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Strong experience in Excel
- Experience across the following Office platforms: Including Word, PowerPoint
- Experience in ETL and Visualisation solutions
- Understanding of offline and online media will be beneficial
- A problem solver & a naturally curious nature
