Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the investment teams to ensure that risks, controls and aligned compliance obligations are identified, documented, assessed, managed and are being appropriately monitored and reported. This includes proactively supporting the identification and assessment of delivered risks associated with change initiatives
- Providing assurance that appropriate processes are in place to implement and monitor adherence to agreed risk appetite limits
- Assisting in the development and delivery of an internal reporting framework which ensures management attention is focussed upon achieving required standards, identifying when there is a need to improve overall control, monitoring management responses to reports and ensuring
A little bit about you:
- Bachelor's degree in Business / Commerce / Law or related fields
- 3+ years of experience in financial services organisations
- A demonstrated passion for, and understanding of financial markets is required
- Understanding of internal controls and assurance framework as well as the 3 lines of defence model
- Experience in either a Line 1 or Line 2 Risk role will be well regarded
