    About the roleAs part of an innovative project for the integration of renewable energy, our Senior Engineer – Power System Modelling will contribute to various Operations initiatives including AEMO's Operations Simulator – cutting edge technology to perform fast electromagnetic transient (EMT) studies using PSCAD, which will support and enable the transformation occurring in the energy system.

    Model testing and benchmarking using power system analysis and simulation software, along with bespoke software development are required for a range of exciting initiatives.

    This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract that can be based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Hobart.
    What you will be doingTesting and benchmarking of power system models in PSS/E and PSCADPower system analysis, e.g.
