About the Role


Our client is a multidisciplinary practice offering design and drafting services, from residential to commercial on small to large scales.

We are seeking a confident and driven Architectural Draftsperson who is skilled to efficiently document designs using REVIT software.

You will need to possess not only excellent technical skills, but also client relationship building skills, offering a high level of work presentation and quality outcomes.

Duties:
  • Complete design brief with client, documenting requirements and details
  • Prepare project documents including scale drawings, and coordinate services and structural consultants
  • Prepare specifications of materials, fittings, fixtures and building element
  • Complete all project documentation in a timely fashion as required
  • Liaise with all project stakeholders and maintain close communication with clients at all times
  • Work autonomously and problem solve as required

Skills and Experience:


  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s in Architectural/Building Design & Drafting
  • 5 + years experience with REVIT software is essential
  • 2+ years experience Lumion software is desirable
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience working with clients to achieve successful results
  • Excellent drafting and documentation skills
  • An ability to work autonomously with mínimal direction
  • Selfmotivated and driven to fulfil successful outcomes
  • An ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
