Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Document Controller, we'll count on you to:

  • Give your full commitment to HDR's Values
  • Ensure all project documentation meets the requirements of our project team and our client.
  • Provide input to Project Documentation Plans (DMP) and control of naming conventions
  • Delivering accurate, timely and responsive services, including registering and handling all incoming and outgoing correspondence and documentation
  • Provide Project Team members adequate training and support to enable successful efficient use of procedures and systems.
  • Provide Quality Assurance / Quality Control of all Project Document Control files (electronically and hardcopy)
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Document Controller role.
  • Previous experience working on major infrastructure projects in the construction or engineering field.
  • Excellent prioritisation and project management skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software such as In Eight (Teambinder) and ProjectWise.
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to multitask and work under pressure (working within tight program deadlines).
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills to work effectively within an inclusive, culturally diverse and multidisciplinary environment.
  • Results orientated, detail orientated and highly organized.
