Located in the heart of North Sydney CBD, View Sydney is a 4-star, 213 room hotel with multiple food & beverage outlets and conferencing.
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee front office daily operations
- Drive guest sentiment
- Initiate projects and follow through to completion
- Recruit, train & develop team members
- Respond to complaints and implement effective service recovery strategies
- Attend to VIP guest requests, oversee room allocations and return guest recognition
- Oversee planned preventative maintenance schedules
- Conduct quality assurance inspections of public areas and guest rooms
- Accountability for department budget
Key Requirements & Experience:
- Previous experience as a front office manager/rooms division manager
- Experienced in all facets of hotel operations
- Effective problem solving skills and ability to think out of the box
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and act at all times in a professional manner
- Availability to work a 7 day rotating roster.
- Highly proficient time management skills and an eye for detail.
- Ability to lead from the front and be a hands on manager
- Natural positivity and selfmotivated
- A collaborator with highly developed communication skills, verbal and written
- Able to work independently and delegate effectively
Salary:
From $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- North Sydney, NSW 2060: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Front Office Management (required)
- Hotel PMS (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (required)
