Band - Salary Range $92,304 to $100,516 per annum + 11% Super + ADO

Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.

The Opportunity


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated individual to join the Organisational Performance Department as a Corporate Planning and Performance Officer.


This position plays an important role in managing corporate and service planning activities, ensuring strict adherence to the Local Government Act 2020 and relevant regulations, while also participating in the development and review of Council policies and the Council and Wellbeing Plan for the City of Melton.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of corporate and service planning, in compliance with the Local Government Act 2020 and subsequent Regulations/Guidelines within Council.
  • Provide input to, and support in the development and review of the Council and Wellbeing Plan.
  • Support Council's Business planning, monitoring, and reporting processes.
  • Support the production of high quality annual and quarterly reports and review Council Plans within both legislated reporting periods and timeframes as provided by Council, its Committees and Executive.

About you

_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Management with some relevant experience, lesser formal qualifications, and substantial relevant experience, or through substantial relevant experience in the field of specialist expertise.
  • Experience and knowledge relating to corporate, business and service planning as it applies to Local Government, and the _Local Government Act 2020._
  • Demonstrated understanding of corporate and service planning activities, reporting on performance outcomes within a Council, and process improvement approaches and activities.
  • Current valid Victorian Driver's Licence.
