    • Our Federal Government client is looking for a Data Modeller.

    The Data Modeller engages in work scoping, sourcing, and optimising of data for analysis. They apply innovative analysis techniques and model results and scenarios, while maintaining the integrity of the system.

    The Data Modeller is highly proficient with data modelling and database design, business analysis, system databases, data elements and application software and other tool sets to develop enterprise data solutions. They have expert knowledge of data modelling methodologies and techniques and has demonstrated experience in delivering quality data model solutions to support complex IT project delivery.

    The ideal resource will have the following skills:

    •Demonstrated ability to deliver business solutions through the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices and processes;

    •5+ years' experience working in and exhibiting knowledge of Data Modelling;

    •Demonstrated interpersonal skills and capacity to communicate and work effectively within a multi-disciplined and blended team environment;

    •The ability to understand complex concepts and consume a diverse set of inputs to formulate a design (legislation, business requirements, workshops, data profiling etc.);

    •Demonstrated ability to query and interpret data using efficient and effective SQL and provide sound advice on complex data/information related matters to deliver quality solutions.

    •Experience in the following:
    oVarious database platforms (i.e. Oracle, SQL Server );
    oER Studio, erwin or similar ;
    oData management principles such as Metadata management, Data governance and Data quality;
    oAPI Interface resource modelling;
