Our client strongly focuses on import and export operations with an airfreight flavour, delivering over and above customer service solutions to a valued portfolio of accounts.
ABOUT THE ROLE
With growth, an opportunity has become available to join their team in Export Airfreight Operations. Handling a variety of tradelanes, this role encompasses all aspects of the process.
Based in Tullamarine, the position suits an experienced operator with 3-5 years of experience looking to move into a team that thrives on volumes.
Previous experience working on CW1 will be valued.DUTIES
- Ensure all files are handled from the order through to delivery at the destination port
- Work with internal and external suppliers to build strong relationships
- Full Customer Service provision for all orders
- Ensure full costing and invoicing are accurate for each file
- Client visits with the commercial team to build strong relationships
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 35 years experience in Export Airfreight operations
- Previous exposure in a handson export role in freight forwarding
- Exposure to working closely with key clients
- Demonstrated ability to maintain commercial relationships
- Desire to assist and crosstrain in imports and cartage operations (as required)
