- The Enterprise Data and Information (EDI) Branch is a branch within DHW reporting directly to the Executive Director, Provider Commissioning and Performance
- Data strategy and projects;
- Data governance and quality assurance;
- Data analysis and release;
- Data management; and
- Business intelligence.
- Working closely with the Associate Director
- Data Operations, the Associate Director
- Data Governance & Strategy, is a role responsible for the EDI data strategy, customer engagements, coordination of data and information related projects, establishing data governance and managing data quality assurance processes and documentation.
- The Associate Director
- Data Governance & Strategy is also required to advise on and contribute to SA Health and DHW strategy, data governance and act as an interface with relevant National and State Committees and the customer interface (model and operation) for the Branch and managing the establishment of data collections.
- A key component will be the management of relationships with all customers, collaborators and stakeholders ensuring trusted collaborative relationships are developed and maintained.
- Provide a high level of leadership, guidance and direction for all Branch employees ensuring staff are supported to deliver their work in a harmonious and collaborative environment that encourages shared development and learning.
- Support the delivery of the overall Branch strategy and associated work plan.
- Responsible as the data custodian for all SA Health's corporate activity data.
Criminal History Screening Requirement
- A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category C (mínimal patient contact)
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
