Bupa Windsor is a modern care home, located 7.5km's south of Melbourne's CBD, close to Albert Park, Melbourne CBD, St Kilda and transport links.

It is one building of 41 beds, with a mixture of care types. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

About the Role
Use your fantastic housekeeping skills in a role where you really can make a difference. Provide our residents with an empathetic and personal approach.

Duties

Sort linen to be washed
Load washers and dryers
Hang, fold and wrap or iron linen as required
Maintain legislated workplace health and safety practices
Ad hoc support to the broader team as required, including catering and cleaning

Skills and Experience

Cert III Hospitality highly regarded
Aged care experience highly regarded but not essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week

As part of the NDIS scheme, employees working within a NDIS facility, in a risk assessed role, must have a completed NDIS check.

This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement - successful applicants will have this cost reimbursed upon commencement.
