Description:


We have a broad range of Government clients, and we are looking to expand our specialist financial accounting team which provides advice and support on all financial accounting matters including financial reporting, financial governance and supporting frameworks and policies.

Positions exist for Senior Consultants, Managers and Senior Managers.

You will be working in a team with very senior accounting professionals with years of practical experience.

We see the successful applicants being part of this expanding team, to be trained and mentored with real opportunities to be part of this growing area of our business.


The work will include:

financial statement preparation, advice and support for Government
drafting accounting position papers and policies
working with various Audit and Risk committees and supporting them by producing briefs and planning documents
process improvement advice on all areas of financial governance and reporting
end of month processes such as journals, reconciliation and reporting in systems such as CBMS.


Skills and Experiences:

Financial accounting or audit and assurance experience in government or the private sector.
Good communications skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Ability to problem solve and multitask.
Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance.
Recognised accounting qualifications including CA or CPA, highly desirable.
