About the role:


We are seeking a passionate and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our Castlemaine team, supporting Operations and Farms as key partner, advisor, and coach.


This role will require a strong focus in leading and supporting ER matters and case management whilst developing management capability.


You will support the implementation of a broad range of People & Performance policies and initiatives within Don with the aim of assisting the Company to meet its vision, values, responsibilities and business objectives, as well as cyclical People and Performance processes.


Responsibilities:


  • Coach and mentor leaders for effective people performance
  • Partner with leaders to accurately interpret and comply with relevant industrial instruments, policies and procedures.
  • Build organisational capabilities through identifying gaps and implementing scalable and bespoke solutions as required.
  • Strengthen leadership capability by supporting relevant leaders with all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
  • Provide support and advice to leaders to build a highperformance culture including supporting change initiatives across the portfolio.
  • Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders including union delegates and officials.
  • Support the business in driving higher employee engagement and improved employee experience at all stages throughout employment.
  • Provide guidance, support and direction for other People and Performance team members.

About you:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Studies
  • Demonstrated broad generalist HR experience in complex and fast based environments
  • Extensive Employee Relations experience (Highly Desirable)
  • Previous experience in a bluecollar operation or sitebased environment (Highly desirable)
  • A successful track record in persuading and influencing managers to implement best practice HR policies and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven experience identifying and deploying process improvement.
  • HR Project experience including change management
