We're seeking expressions of interest from Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists or Physiotherapists with at least five (5)+ years' experience in people management, quality management or clinical management within the residential aged care sector (above and beyond initial 5+ years aged care experience) for potential future roles.

Australian Healthcare Associates (AHA) is Australia's largest health and human services consulting firm.

We're currently tendering for additional work to undertake Residential Aged Care assessments of residents in aged care facilities on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care.


The work will involve you leading a team of experienced aged care professionals who will be visiting aged care facilities to assess residents using the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) assessment funding tool.

You will provide in-field support to assessors to ensure the quality and consistency of assessments, plus develop assessor support and quality assurance mechanisms.


On offer:


  • Very attractive salary $130,000p.a. + 11% superannuation
  • Permanent, fulltime role
  • Involvement in the recruitment and onboarding of assessors in your allocated area.
  • Support from an administrative assistant to manage the scheduling of assessments and team rostering.

About the position:


  • Provide infield clinical support to a team of assessors to assure consistency and quality of assessments.
  • Manage performance and ongoing training requirements of assessors.
  • Collaborate with other Area Managers and share learnings to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular updates and data reports on team.
  • Travel within your allocated area.

Required:


  • 5+ years' experience in people management, quality management or clinical management within the residential aged care sector (above and beyond initial 5+ years aged care experience).
  • Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
  • Intermediate to advanced IT skills particularly in Excel
  • Excellent writing skills including report writing.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable car for travel.
