About us

YK Education was founded by an NSW Qualified High School teacher with the vision of putting students at the centre of their education by catering to their individual needs.

If there are thirty students in the class, there should be thirty modified lessons.

The YK Method combines private tutoring and small group sessions so that we can cater to every student's unique educational needs and struggles.

There are pros and cons to private and group tuition so we've developed a program where students can experience the best of both

We work closely with individual students so if you enjoy building strong connections with people and helping students achieve their personal best, you will find working with us to be a rewarding experience.

Position - Tasks & responsibilities

Teach English (Y7 to Y12) to high school students in both private and small group environments between pm
Teach at our office in St Leonards
Undergo Tutor training course for 4 sessions to understand teaching strategies, how to structure a 60minute lesson, how to use resources to teach effectively.

Qualifications & experience

Completed at least Extension 1 English and received the top band in the Advanced course
Graduated the NSW high school system
