What will you do?
You will undertake a variety of surveying work as per client's requests, manage day-to-day aspects of your projects including client interaction, fieldwork, calculations, safety management and the quality assurance of all work as well as other tasks including:

Undertake Open Pit / Underground mine surveys
Work with clients to achieve production and safety targets
Run surveys in an efficient and professional manner
Maintain accurate records of job progress
Implement control documents for all specified tasks (e.g. JHA/JSA, SOPs)
Maintaining professional development and training
Contribute to continuous improvement activities
Provide seamless handovers for the incoming crew

What you need to succeed
As well as having a no problems just solutions attitude, you will need:

Minimum Advanced Diploma or Bachelor degree in Surveying
Preferably 2 years+ Underground and/or open cut Mine Surveyor experience
Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
Manual Drivers Licence
Software experience in Surpac, Deswik, Vulcan, Pix4d, Agisoft etc
Experience in control installation best practice and experience in survey checks and network adjustments
Hardware experience with Leica or Trimble Total Stations and DJI or Phantom drones/UAVs, GPS, Scanning
Customer service skills with technical proficiency

It would be an advantage to have:

Experience with Scanning
Current First aid certificate
4WD Training Course
RPAS License (Multi Rotor and/or Fixed Wing)
