Description

To provide a responsible high-quality contribution to the maintenance of the ore processing facility at Dargues Gold Mine.

The roster for this role is 8/6 Dayshift only.

Key Responsibilities

Preventative maintenance of plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and manuals with a focus on maintaining safety and maximising production
Resolve operational or technical equipment problems to minimise processing/manufacturing interruptions resulting from equipment breakdowns/failures
Maintain cleanliness of shops and work areas
To be a part of the callout teams
Maintain cost focus and reduce wastage of materials
Provide input into planned maintenance tasks
Assist in development of safe work procedures and JSA's
Work as an effective member of the Maintenance team, including contributing to a positive team environment and supporting the training and development of apprentices.

**About You
***- Mechanical trade certificate essential

Current NSW 'C' class licence or equivalent
Demonstrated experience utilising trade qualifications in a mining environment
Developed interpersonal skills and strong customer focus
Ability to communicate with all levels across operation and external parties
Demonstrated experience in fixed plant assets, including mill processing plant and equipment and associated components
Ability to monitor and maintain fixed plant equipment costs
Demonstrated ability to ensure safety of maintenance personnel associated with fixed plant equipment maintenance.

DARGUES

Our Dargues Mine is a gold mining and milling operation located in the south-eastern NSW tablelands, approximately 60 kilometres (km) south-east of Canberra.

The facility includes an underground mine, processing plant and associated surface facilities.
