Allied Health Receptionist for Quinns Podiatry and Drovers Podiatry_

Our medical receptionists manage a busy reception desk, welcoming patients to the practice and supporting Podiatrists plus general administration duties.

As the first person the patient sees on entering the practice, and the first impression of the practice, you need to have a pleasant, confident and cheerful disposition and a welcoming smile with a neat and professional appearance.

You will be responsible for:_

• Making appointment in person and over the phone
• Receiving and recording payments for private, Medicare, DVA and workers compensation patients
• Completing a banking report at the end of the day and ensuring that the daily tally equals the total on the settlement report
• Data entry from new patient forms and Medicare care plans and other referrals
• Processing Medicare subsidised care plans
• Using the practice software, Nookal (similar to Cliniko)
• Cleaning the practice in the afternoon
• May be responsible for processing the used instruments

Position details_

This position is initially casual leading to optional part time

• Wages : part time $26$30, penalty rates for Saturday shifts
• Hours on offer : per week plus covering shifts for other receptionists on leave
• Work conditions : Requires an ability to legally work in Australia
• Experience : Customer service minimum 1 year with relevant responsibilities. Previous experience working in a medical or allied health practice would be an advantage
