Rubix Solutions are currently seeking multiple DevOps Consultants for long term works at a federal government agency.


Our client is an Australian award-winning business, with established and respected relationships with government entities and leading ASX companies alike.

Positions offered on long term contract or full time permanent basis in Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane.

Existing AGSVA security clearance preferred, however our client will also be able to provide sponsorship to gain clearance of eligible Australian Citizens.


Requirements:


  • 4 + years DevOps expertise
  • 4 + years system analysis expertise
  • Prior federal government or defence domain experience preferred
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in DevSecOps engineering, creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automation of infrastructure, coding & scripting
  • Experience in Windows/Linux engineering and exposure to automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Powershell, GitHub, GitLab would be highly critical
  • Ability to effectively communicate with business stakeholders and technical leadership groups would be essential
  • Demonstrated success in leading technical and delivery teams in adoption of DevSecOps and SRE practices is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated skills in orchestrating traditional and cloud infrastructure to deliver ongoing service improvements is highly desirable
  • Experience in APIs, microservices architectures and development is highly desirable
  • Experience with Monitoring tool like Splunk, Elasticsearch, Solarwinds, Graylog are highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Onsite in office presence required no remote working
