SLR Consulting is a rapidly growing professional services consultancy with over 2,000 multi-discipline consultants across Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe and North America.

Due to our continued growth and project pipeline, there is an opportunity for a Statutory Planner to join our APAC Planning team.
Our team is made up of a group of highly skilled and motivated Planners with an enthusiastic approach to life and work. We currently service a pipeline of projects within the commercial, health and sustainable energy sectors. With the majority of our 20+ Planning team based in Newcastle NSW, we are looking to expand our existing operations in the QLD region to provide greater availability and access for our clients.
Based out of the SLR Brisbane office, and overlooking the Brisbane River, this is an exciting opportunity for a planning consultant, who is looking for a change to join an expanding team with broad client base.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Planning analysis and research and confident in delivering exceptional results
Managing projects without direct supervision
Liaising with clients, councils, consultants & other government agencies
Compiling of DA lodgment packages
Experience working across multidisciplinary projects within a consulting environment
Business development and highlevel client relationship management

Skills and experience
Not only will you bring a great attitude and enthusiastic approach to your work, you will also have:

A degree in town planning or equivalent
24 years working experience within a consulting business with direct experience in a town planning, property, development
Excellent report writing skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong focus on team work and building lasting internal relationships.
