The Company

Edutemps has collaborated with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) based in Newcastle, NSW, which has been in operation for 30 years all over Australia.

The Role

As a Trainer and Assessor, you are responsible for delivering Leadership and Management courses, thorough blended learning, including workshops via Zoom, online learning, and work-based simulated activities.

The successful applicant will be given an opportunity to upskill and obtain a

Diploma in Training and Assessment to further their career with the training organisation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of training and assessment in accordance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and mark assessments for students.
  • Liaise with students as they progress through their studies and keep records of interactions.
  • Maintain student records and all applicable regulatory requirements, particularly NSW. Government Smart and Skilled contract.
  • Participate in Validation and Moderation as required.
  • Prepare and mark assessments for students.
  • Engaging, experienced Trainer Assessor who has held a similar role delivering practical and interactive training to various industries.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a higherlevel adult education qualification.
  • Be willing to complete a Diploma level qualification in Training and Assessment under scholarship arrangement.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills with an attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of current VET practices and requirements.
  • Extensive experience in a leadership or management role that includes supervising and managing teams at a site or regional level.
