Responsibilities include:


  • Support the Manager, OCP to ensure efficient operation of daytoday activities of the OCP including coordinating the daily flow of business. Assist with maintaining the Chief Practitioner's diary including organisation of meetings, appointments, conferences, seminars, travel arrangements including accommodation. Assist with the coordination and quality assurance of ministerial and executive correspondence for the directorate, including requests from the Office of the Director-General (for example Questions on Notice, Possible Parliamentary Questions, media requests, Departmental Liaison Officer requests) and internal requests from other areas of the department (for example Discussion Paper responses). Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of the tracking and administrative workflow systems, including registration, allocation and reporting systems for ministerial and executive correspondence via the Mincor system. Provide information and advice to departmental officers regarding format, style and other technical aspects of ministerial and executive correspondence to ensure the effective preparation and coordination. Liaise, consult and maintain effective relationships with executive and senior officers, such as staff of the Office of the Director-General, Deputy Directors-General, team members, internal and external clients and other stakeholders. Assist the Chief Practitioner and Manager, OCP with project work, or Estimates preparations as required.
