About the role
This successful applicant will carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Manage the Queensland Eating Disorder Service.
Provide direct clinical services to the Queensland Eating Disorder Service.
Participate in the MNMH-Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (MNMH-RBWH) ECT roster.
Participate in the MNMH-RBWH afterhours oncall roster and the occasional provision of services in nonmetropolitan areas as required.
Attend team review meetings and education sessions.
Support and develop quality improvement and evaluation measures. Research activities are an integral part of this position and will be encouraged

Registration as a medical practitioner and specialist in psychiatry (FRANZCP) with the Medical Board of Australia.

Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to the commencement of clinical duties.

Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrist or equivalent post-graduate specialist qualification or eligible for registration as a Specialist in Psychiatry with the Medical Board of Australia.

MBBS or equivalent qualification registrable with the Medical Board of Australia.
A University appointment would be highly desirable.

Prior to commencement of duty, the appointee will be required to be credentialed by the appropriate MNH Sub-Committee and granted an appropriate Scope of Clinical Practice.
