Our client is one of the biggest names in the Renewable Energy market.

We have a current and immediate opportunity for a highly skilled and efficient Planning and Scheduling Manager to work in a key leadership role supporting onsite delivery and the programme as a whole.


The Role:


Develop and improve the Project Programme-

  • Joint lead of the Integrated Planning Team along with the Contractor to verify and validate all data and configured information in the Project Programme.
  • Lead opportunities to continuously drive efficiencies and enhance the Programme.
  • Support the chair (GM
  • Project Excellence) of the Project Programme & Risk review meeting to surface and drive decision making around enhancements in the Project programme.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with construction managers and teams onsite to validate, assure, crosscheck on the ground performance and delivery in creating and improving the project programme.
  • Support construction teams on lean planning and validation of L5/L6 planning as required.
  • Lead analysis, data and reporting from primary Programme, Primavera P6, both regular and adhoc reporting as requested.
  • Jointly lead with Contractor Team lead to verify and validate all data and configured information, including delivery of the Recovery Target Programme.
  • Assure along with Project Controls team time, costs, and value reporting.
  • Support the governance team by overseeing the validation of dashboard data from Project platforms in HSE, Quality pillars etc.
  • Work closely with the Project Risk function to model to impact of risks and opportunities into the programme.

Leadership-

  • Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement among planning team members, motivating them to deliver exceptional results.
  • Maintain / improve the engagement and wellbeing of the team and 812 direct reports through proactive people.

About You:


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management, Civil or Electrical Engineering or Similar
  • Proven experience in leading the planning and scheduling function in a megaproject. Experience in a hydro project advantageous.
  • Exceptional problemsolving and decisionmaking skills, with the ability to analyse complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and report writing skills. Able to clearly orally articulate reporting/ information.
  • Ability to understand and implement contract requirements in management of the Programme.
  • Strong Office Suite skills, industry planning and reporting platform experience would be an advantage e.g. Oracle Suite or Deltek, BIM softwares.
