About The Role:
Do you have experience providing high-level executive support and are on the lookout for your new career move?


We are currently seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Executive Assistant for the CEO of Waverley Social Enterprises (Waverley), to provide efficient and effective secretarial and administrative support, and ensure the coordination of Waverley's executive support function.

Waverley is on a trajectory of doing everything better, and this role will play a key part in ensuring that comes true.

Key Duties:

  • Preparation and review of confidential correspondence for the CEO
  • Compile reports facilitating all department data
  • Diary Management scheduling of appointments
  • Travel arrangement both nationally and internationally
  • Compiling presentations, weekly and monthly reports unitizing all Microsoft packages.
  • Support the CEO in ensuring timely receipt of materials and Waverley's adherence to timelines.
  • Preparation of key presentations and documents for review and approval.
  • Preparation and distribution on all customer correspondence
  • General trouble shooting and problem resolution on a daily basis
  • Providing secretarial and administration support to the ELT ( Executive Leadership Team) as capacity allows
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Health, Safety and the Environment:_
  • Provide input regarding matters that may affect the safety and health of all employees as well as the environment.
  • Attend all required OHS training sessions and completed all the necessary paperwork as requested.
  • Communicate any identified OHS issues to appropriate OHS contact.
  • Take all reasonable care for the health and safety of all people and the environment at work.
  • Cooperate with the Company requirements for measures designed to protect the health and safety of all people and the environment at work.

About You:


You will have demonstrated experience as an executive assistant, have excellent organisational skills and can balance competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Strong interpersonal & communication skills, able to build relationships across a diverse range of people with a collaborative approach and style.


You have exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills and can work highly autonomously with limited supervision and ability to be proactive and show high levels of initiative.

You are proficient with the Microsoft Office suite. You have an understanding of the unique requirements of the not-for-profit sector.

  • Essential Skills, and experience:_
  • At least five year's experience as an Executive Assistant for a medium to large organization servicing a minimum of two Executive Managers
  • Able to meet deadlines and preempt requirements to facilitate daily Executive needs
  • Able to manage more than one task at a time and priorities deadlines and outcomes
  • Strong communication and investigation skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of initiative and superior organizational skills to follow requests right through to completion.
  • Extensive experience in administrative roles, having worked for senior management
  • The flexibility to change priorities and deal with ambiguity at times
  • Ability to negotiate and act in a commercial manner towards purchasing outcomes
  • Professional experience within purchasing and contract negotiation
