We are seeking well-rounded and motivated casual OSHC Educators for our
Humpybong Service (Redcliffe/Margate area)

School Plus are specialists in providing high quality Outside School Hours Care Services to children across South East Queensland.

We are passionate about fun and engaging programs and the essentials necessary to "
create a patch for every child to GROW".

We are looking for that person who is committed to creating fun and interactive play-based programs, whilst fostering relationships with children and families.

You will be mentored by amazing Service Leaders.


About you:


  • You will be an outgoing, reliable person who has lots of initiative who loves to laugh out loud at work
  • You will have a true passion for working with children (412 years);
  • Be able to build strong relationships with the children, parents, school and community
  • Work as part of a team and acting as a role model to staff and children

Requirements:


  • Relevant childcare qualifications (or are actively studying) such as a Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or if you are completing an Education, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Disability Services, or Social Work Degree and looking for casual work to gain hands on experience in working with children, including some students with additional needs;
  • Qualified educators must hold a current Senior First Aid, CPR Emergency Management of Asthma and Anaphylaxis or alternatively a certificate for HLTAID004 "Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting" as this covers all certificates.
  • Be available to work at least 3 afternoons a week (Monday
  • Friday);
  • A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check);

Hours of work are varied and include split shifts during term time:

  • 6.00am
  • 9.00am Before School Care
  • 2.30pm 6.00pm After School Care
  • Various shifts during Vacation Care
