Daon's IdentityX Platform for mobile biometric assurance and authentication eases the journey to eKYC assurance, removes friction from the authentication process and dramatically reduces identity fraud.

You will have hands-on responsibility for IdentityX implementation, and for educating, guiding and advising our clients in best practices deployment of Daon IdentityX.

• Willing and able to act autonomously under the direction of a project manager and/or Principal Technical Personnel
• Experienced in the development of business solutions for mobile and webbased users
• Have the capability to clearly articulate appropriate methodologies for deployment of Daon technology and SDK's, to an audience grounded in the development community for Identity Assurance and Authentication
• Able to help Daon's customers to deploy and integrate IdentityX technology by providing robust and scalable solutions, built to handle the performance demands of millions of end users.

• Development (coding and unit testing) of various product artefacts as required by Daon's customers, using a variety of mobile and backend technologies including Android/Java, Objective-C/Swift, HTML5, API Services,.NET, JSON and SQL technologies
• Mapping of customer requirements onto the design and deployment of successful IdentityX deployments
• Documentation of design and design decisions, plus delivery of all solution collateral
• Coordination with other team members, to ensure that project deliverables are on time and meet or exceed client requirements
• Identification of risks, issues and other challenges, with recommended resolution to Clients, Principal Consultant or Project Manager
• Timely communication with internal and customer stakeholders
• Provision of technology deepdive, and assistance with complex UAT and golive scenarios
• Assistance in presales engagements, to identify project requirements, implementation strategy, schedule, etc
• Supporting the Field (Direct & Partner) Sales teams, by educating prospective customers about Daon's products. This includes conference calls, site visits, presentations, technical evaluations, technical objection handling, and follow up on all customer related issues
• Distilling customer project experience and feedback into practical suggestions for product improvement
• Other duties will be assigned as the role evolves and the business develops.

• Strong working knowledge in mobile development with a focus on the Android environment.
• Proficient in Java/Kotlin/Gradle and HTTP communication and 3rdparty frameworks. (eg. RxJava, Retrofit, Dagger)
• Proven experience and knowledge of Android UI design and native capabilities, Biometric/Camera API, push notification,
• Desirable additional skills:

• Knowledge of mobile app frameworks such as React Native and Ionic.
• Strong API web service design and development experience, including an understanding of enterprise system integration concepts (reliability, scalability, transactionality, security etc.)
• Developer knowledge of enterprise relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
• Experience in information security, biometrics, Public Key Infrastructure is a major plus
• Working knowledge of cloud based platforms such as AWS, GCP and Azure.
• Understanding of Identity & Access Management architectures and products (e.g. Forgerock, Ping Identity) is a plus.
