About the Team

The Office of Engagement and Advancement will work collaboratively with First Peoples, regional, national and international communities, peer universities, other tertiary education providers, and industry partners to leverage existing innovations and programs across the University and within our communities.

This includes but is not limited to Westerns Alpha Platform, The Academy, Western Sydney Creative, True Reward, Widening Participation, Philanthropy and Community Engagement.


The Office will ensure the University's transformation into an engaged campus network will be pursued in aid of the communities we serve, and the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of Greater Western Sydney.


About the Role
The Office of Engagement & Advancement is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Manager, Fairfield Connect.

This position is critical to the development and success of Fairfield Connect.

The Manager is responsible for developing the hub as a centre for current and future students, as well as a place to generate ideas, innovation, policy development, and deliver training, events, and community education and support.

The Manager will ensure the smooth operation of the facility, consistent with its purpose as a significant community asset promoting an equitable, prosperous, and sustainable future for the Fairfield region and its surrounds.


This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months based at Fairfield Connect, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required.

Remuneration Package:
HEW Level 8 $130,740 to $145,135 p.a. (comprising Salary of $110,477 to $122,641 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
