We have a new opportunity for a skilled
Finance Analyst to provide accounting support and financial analysis to our Resource and Industrials (R&I) Division.
As
Finance Analyst you will be involved in the preparation of reports and KPIs reflecting earnings, profits and other financial results, and provision of meaningful analysis to the business that improves the ability to make informed decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Weekly and monthly Profit & Loss and associated review, discussion & reporting commentary with BU Managers
- Preparation and review monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations & lead resolution on reconciliations
- Preparation & support of budget/forecast process in close consultation with Managers & stakeholders
- Input into Corporate Reporting & coordinating with team members for accurate completion
- Active involvement in business performance management reporting including recommendations & implementation of continuous process improvement & assessment
- Aiding & assisting general finance / accounting / systems and associated analysis & business decision support
- Creation of PowerBI dashboards and automation.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum of 5 years management or financial accounting experience
- Comprehensive finance reporting & operational metrics experience
- Strong analytical & problemsolving capability & aptitude
- Mature & adaptable outlook able to proactively embrace change & improvement
- Strong communication & relationships skills including ability to develop strong business partnering
- Exhibit a high level of accuracy & attention to detail
- CPA/CA/CIMA qualification or part qualification
