Description
Experienced Food Handler or Chef required to work alongside our Production Manager in the preparation and dispatch of food from for our central production unit in Bulimba to multiple sites across Brisbane.
Your duties will include:
- Following & implementing strict food safety & hygiene practices set out in our Food Safety Program
- Preparation of fresh sandwich fillings from raw ingredients, following strict inhouse recipes
- Making of all dressings, sauces, and salads
- Cooking and Slicing Meats
- Packaging all products ready for dispatch
- Implementing & recording of daily cleaning schedules
- Recording of all food/fridge temperatures to comply with BCC regulations & guidelines.
- Receiving, recording & rotation of stock
- Motivating team to reach daily production targets.
You will require:
- Excellent hygiene Practices
- Good Communication Skills (Essential)
- 5 years or more food preparation experience.
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or equivalent)
- Ability to read & understand basic Excel Spreadsheets
- Australian Drivers Licence (not essential)
- Positive cando attitude
Pay:
$55, $60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
