North Shore Hand Therapy (NSHT) is an allied health practice treating both chronic and acute injuries to the hand and upper limb. We are looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist to work alongside our Practice Manager on a casual or permanent part time basis

Roles and Responsibilities

Greeting health professionals and patients as they enter/leave the practice
Handling and directing all inbound telephone calls
Responsible for all aspects of the front desk reception and general administration duties relating to the daytoday operation of NSHT, including processing new patient information into Cliniko, the taking & receipt of payments, making follow up appointments and liaising as required with the team from Sydney Hand Surgery Associates
Handling of incoming mail and preparation of mail to send
Assisting Practice Owner/Senior Practice Manager with coordination of NSHT staff rosters, including rescheduling as required due to annual/personal leave
To monitor and follow up accounts receivable, report debt levels to Practice Owner/Senior Practice Manager on regular basis as required
Maintain patient confidentiality is of the utmost importance in this role
Displaying empathy and understanding as you assist in processing simple patient and health professional requests as required
Maintaining appearance of front reception and kitchen area
