This person will be responsible for the allocation of fleet and will be the support person for the fleet manager

Core objectives include_:


  • Driver rosters and schedules, Efficient scheduling of a fleet
  • Ensure you are compliant with OHS. a solid understanding of government regulations regarding Workplace Health and Safety, vehicle loading, safe driving hours/fatigue management and load restraints.
  • Knowledge of Sydney' suburbs.
  • Load planning, and mass management
  • Liaising with truck drivers
  • Communicate effectively with customers to meet client demands and delivery and pickup schedules
  • Dedicated and informed planning to ensure maximum productivity is achieved
  • Administrative duties records management
  • Truck loading
  • Majority of stock is nonDG, however, for the small percentage the Dangerous Goods knowledge is a requirement
- the ability and skills to listen to instructions and follow instructions and not make assumptions.

  • Loading/Unloading B-Double Straight and Mezzanine trucks.
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment
  • Reliable/Honest/Hard Working/Can do attitude
  • Experience in Strapping
  • Experience in Load Balancing and Weight Distribution
  • Physically fit to be able to endure the manual lifting tasks
  • Great verbal communication skills
  • A strong safety focus in a fastpaced environment.

Salary:
$80, $90,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Moorebank, NSW 2170: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
