Role Objective

Role is expected to support the incar mapping technology on the fleet of vehicles. Contractor will need to have the ability to analyze problems and return quick solutions to challenging issues.

Role & Responsibilities

Assembly and disassembly of systems inhouse and infield on vehicles etc.
Troubleshooting and replacing various computer and camera components
Remote support for vehicle fleet, including walking operators through system function tests and collecting relevant data over the phone
Support engineering teams with test and data collection projects
Travel may be required to complete infield repairs
Create and maintain safe working environments
Coordinate shipment of equipment to and from field locations
Attend occasional customer meetings
Provide support & Repair: Follow the guidelines as given in the helpdesks to repair all vehicles coming for repair locally or by remote support.
Communication: Ensure daily reports to Tech Lead for status of repair|refurbishments for all the vehicles|trekker|art camera| other equipment.
Refurbishment: Ensure the refurbishment is done for all the parts to be done as per the procedures.
Communicate with the drivers for all the defects that are raised in the tickets to get confirmation on the defect types.
Coordinate when required with the software team in resolution of the repair work.
100% accurate description of the problem in the GUTS ticket.
Build/Dismantle/Rebuild: Ensure the checklist | template for every new vehicle built/dismantled/rebuilt locally or in different countries.
Assist with the Data Integration team for disk ingest operations.

Experience / Skills

23 years experience in hardware troubleshooting, installation and warehouse management
High school or equivalent
Technological savviness
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to operate and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business.
Comfortable with a rapidlychanging environment
Strong problemsolving skills and excellent attention to detail
Able to work independently, motivated, proactive attitude with a passion for learning and creative problem solving
