THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Legal Assistant to join the firm's national Public Law team, based in Sydney

Typical duties may include:

Managing ad hoc administration tasks for the Public Law team
Opening and closing files
Client Billing and reconciling expenses
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders via the phone and providing assistance with matter inquiries
Scheduling appointsments, court events, and overall diary management
Assisting with the organisation and coordination of events and functions

THE CANDIDATE

At least 2 years' experience as a Legal Assistant in any Area of Law (litigation or public law experience is highly regarded)
Professional demeanour, excellent organisation and communication skills
Ability to effectively prioritise tasks
Proficient MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Initiative, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
A positive "can do" attitude
Desire to thrive in a fun and fastpaced team environment
