We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Production Coordinator within our Weapons and Manufacturing business unit based in Edinburgh Parks, SA.

In terms of more specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Demonstrated "Visible Leadership", working collaboratively with integrated teams, engaging and communicating with employees across a range of roles and leadership levels
  • Identify, participate and input into local and business level continuous improvement opportunities (technical, schedule and cost) and consult with relevant accountable disciplines for implementation
  • Plan, manage and execute the delivery of production outputs to the required standard, as agreed with stakeholders
  • Respond appropriately to nonconformances in compliance with requirements and report as required where escalation is necessary. Share lessons learned
  • Coordinate work activities, facilitate running meetings, assist in directing activities of team, provide training and the use of work instructions, procedures, and work orders
  • Be responsible for understanding quality requirements and working to meet or exceed those requirements
  • Support resource constraint outcomes as directed by the Planner & Production Supervisors
  • Support the development and maintenance of process instructions by Manufacturing Engineering
  • Report the production performance in accordance with Production System Business Rhythm
  • Provide a safe working environment for all employees, visitors and contractors
  • Track WIP & Work Order status with production
  • Drive, review, complete, escalate and report ITP actions
  • Action stock movement and work orders on ERP system

As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you will have:

  • A Certificate IV in Leadership and Management would be desirable, however not necessary
  • The ability to interact effectively with colleagues within and outside immediate team, to implement business requirements
  • Welldeveloped selfmanagement skills and demonstrated ability to work under own initiative to deliver outputs safely to quality, cost and time (SQCDP)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to motivate individuals and teams across a number of business areas, to shape and implement business requirements
  • Experience to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements, with appropriate stakeholder management
  • The ability to negotiate with and influence internal and/ or external stakeholders in a way which generates business benefit whilst maintaining key relationships
  • The ability to use and adapt written and verbal communication skills to suit a variety of different audiences is critical to this role
  • Skills to Implement and monitor continuous improvement systems and processes
  • Contribute to a workplace learning environment by creating learning opportunities, promote learning and monitor and improve learning effectiveness


International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
