Novotel Perth Langley is located within the Perth CBD, with sensational views of the Swan River. Offering 256 well-appointed hotel rooms and suites, multiple food and beverage venues and six conference rooms.


Reporting directly to the General Manager and Director of Sales, this hands-on role is integral in leading the Food & Beverage operation to success.

You will be responsible for multiple Food and Beverage outlets including Sen5es Restaurant & Bar, Fenians Irish Pub, Room service and Banquets.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the management of all outlets ensuring that revenue is maximised and costs are effectively controlled
  • Completing regular departmental forecasts and deliver on financial targets
  • Developing a strategic plan (in conjunction with the Executive Chef and General Manager) for the Food and Beverage operations to ensure long term profitability
  • Conducting regular analysis on all outlets and operations to continuously improve productivity, quality, market competitiveness and service standards.
  • Implement marketing plans for each outlet to maximise revenue opportunities
  • Undertaking projects within the Hotel at the direction of the General Manager
  • Implementing and maintaining operational and brand standards and procedures across all outlets.
  • Leading team performance management and development.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about everything food, beverage and hospitality
  • Prior experience in a leadership role people management is key as you will lead a large team.
  • Current RSA and knowledge of liquor licensing, food safety and reporting.
  • A genuine ability to engage with people by being "the real deal".
  • An aptitude for financial analysis, forecasting and reporting.
  • Unlimited working rights in Australia and availability to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends as per our business demands.
  • You will have a passion for the hospitality industry with experience in a similar role in a similar hotel and are committed to take pride in delivering high quality food and beverage products.
