As the Training Planning Analyst, you will support short to medium term training plans for all Qantas mainline pilot and cabin crew training to train the required crew to operate the required forecast network demand.

Working on both Domestic and International restart program, including the EIS of the A321 and A350 aircrafts to support the training delivery managers in the development and implementation of training plans ensuring the growth and readiness across the network is achieved.


One position will have a strong focus on Planning you will have extensive expertise and experience in excel models, interpreting and analysing data whilst keeping all inputs up to date.

The other position will focus on Training Systems where you will work closely with the cabin and cabin crew teams to achieve the strategic goals of the business units.

You'll have

  • Tertiary qualifications in aviation or businessrelated discipline.
  • Strong attention to detail with strong communication (both verbal and written), presentation and analytical skills.
  • Extensive skills and experience in Microsoft suite
  • Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate ownership of actions. With highly developed strategic, lateral thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Proven experience working with crew training concepts is highly desirable.
  • In depth knowledge of the planning principles and understanding of the business objectives that guide the company.
  • Superior Regulatory and Industrial Agreement knowledge and interpretation ability.
  • Demonstrated capability and commitment to improve efficiency and utilisation within a complex organisation.
  • Ability to translate detailed data analysis into a presentation format that is simple and easy to understand while still delivering the key message.
  • Superior customer service, business partnering and influencing skills.
  • Extensive experience in modelling and analysing business strategy.
  • Ability to influence and work with at all levels of stakeholders across the business.
  • Highly developed organisational skills including effective time management.
