About the role:

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to enhancing health and safety performance and address incident trends.
Lead incident investigations, identify hazards, and conduct risk assessments.
Assist line leaders in the effective implementation and communication of the GFG health and safety policy, standards, programs, and procedures.
Ensure that safety systems within the business unit comply with local legislation.
Conduct audits of business processes associated with inherently highrisk activities.
Support introducing new health and safety initiatives through delivering training sessions, predominantly facetoface.

About your experience:

Additionally, you will have:

A background in safety, preferably 35 years of experience, or a track record as an exceptional operations leader with a working knowledge of health and safety.
Experience in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
An innovative and creative approach to safety with a proactive attitude.
Commitment to safety compliance.
Experience in maintaining a balance between being friendly and firm, with the ability to address situations when they are not right.
