ABOUT THE ROLE


Reporting to the Distribution Centre Supervisor, we are looking for a driven and enthusiastic
Logistics Support Inbound and Outbound to ensure all inbound and outbound deliveries are planned, scheduled, loaded and unloaded whilst adhering to OH&S policy and procedures.

This role will also raise and resolve unexpected issues with the DC Supervisor to avoid delays with deliveries.


THIS ROLE WILL SEE YOU:


  • Ability to comprehend and follow OH&S policy and procedures
  • Responsible for all DC inbound and outbound transport movements.
  • Safely loading and unloading vehicles
  • Communicating with drivers, stores and Support office to ensure ontime delivery
  • Monitoring delivery schedules and updating transportation systems and records
  • Arranging timeslots for pickup and delivery requirements, this will include interaction with suppliers and freight forwarders.
  • Liaising with transport providers to resolve any delivery queries and issues.
  • Arrange and book most optimal transport provider for deliveries and stock transfers.
  • Able to work cohesively within a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and freight data to assist with transport and budgeting processes.
  • Other tasks as directed by the DC Supervisor.

WHO ARE YOU?

_ Essential_

  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Current forklift license;
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in an efficient manner whilst also maintaining site safety requirements;
  • Team orientated;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail.

HOURS
This role will work form Monday to Friday from 9.00AM to 17.00PM
