Inner East Melbourne Suburbs
Freelance or contracting opportunity

Due to emerging projects, this digital agency are seeking an SEO Specialist to join on a 3 month contract opportunity.

Working in a highly collaborative and supportive environment, you will be responsible for working with designers, copywriters, and data analysts to create data-driven SEO briefs.

You will be required to communicate complex SEO concepts in clear, simple English to non-technical team members and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough keyword and industry research to identify customer intentions and organic traffic opportunities.
Provide onpage SEO recommendations and technical SEO insights to optimize the landing page's performance.
Identify and communicate internal linking opportunities within the site.
Present a unified solution backed by search intent data and quantifiable opportunities for organic traffic.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of handson experience in SEO, preferably within an agency or freelance environment
Proven track record of collaborative work with crossfunctional teams including designers, copywriters, and project managers.
Expertise in onpage SEO, Google's search quality guidelines, and a usercentric approach to page experience.
Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, informational architecture (IA), internal linking, and link equity.
Prior experience with SEO tools and analytics platforms.
