Our client is a global 3PL provider with a well established presence in ANZ, and the next few years will be an exciting time with a focus on continious improvement projects, investment in technology and network growth. With an ongoing focus on their transport operations capabilities and exciting opportunity is available for a Transport Operations Manager in NSW & ACT to join them.

The role reports to the GM of Transport and will lead the transport operations function in NSW & ACT including cross-dock across four sites in NSW. The role has full budget accountability including a fleet of 100 vehicles and drivers. This is a commercial, operational, and strategic role and will provide strong leadership, support and training to a capable and ambitious team, and will work with the GM of Transport to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to capitalise on growth opportunities for the state.

Success profile will be an experienced leader in transport management with a proven track record of delivering a cost effective, optimised and safety focused transport function, and a successful track record of people management and developing talent from within. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate they thrive in being in a hands-on, faced-paced, and challenging role, and have the patience, understanding and ability to lead teams through change in a transformational and high growth environment.
